This tour offers you a good deal of the many, many temples, museums and cultural life that you can find in Nepal.
First we show you Kathmandu valley, with its rich Newari culture. The Newars are the original inhabitants of the valley and they created the great civilization of the three cities in the valley. Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. With its skillfully built temples and places. Engraved stone and metal images. And beautifully carved wooden houses.
We take you to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, world heritage site. We show you the hidden temples in Kathmandu’s small alleys. But as well the huge Buddhist temples of Swayambodnath and Boudhanath. And one of the most holy places to Hindu religion, Pasupati temple complex.
You will enjoy sunset and sunrise at Nagarkot , with excellent views of the Himalayan mountains.
By cable car we cross the mighty Trisuli river to visit yet another important Hindu worship place . Manakanama temple.
We go to Lumbini , birthplace of Buddha ,where there is a huge international temple complex all dedicated to Buddha.
But don’t worry. Its not all hard work viewing temples. There is different culture in Nepal as well. Tharu culture, in the Terai. With its own typical clay houses and exiting dances. And once you are there, why not enjoy an elephant safari in Chitwan national park.
The program also offers you enough free time for relaxing and shopping.
And as a goodbye to Nepal, we take you for a mountain flight.
You will be staying in middle to high class hotels and resorts. All your transportation is taken care of and there will be a guide with you all the time.

Day 1 Pick up from airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2 After breakfast, guided city tour with visit to the mayor Buddhist temples
Day 3 After breakfast ,guided walking tour in Kathmandu. Seeing Durbar square and
hidden alley shrines.
Day 4 Morning ,free time ,after lunch ride to Nagarkot. .Sunset and sunrise.
Day 5 After breakfast ride to Bhaktapur, sightseeing and spend one night there.
Day 6 After breakfast, but relaxed ,we go to Riverside Springs Resort. With pool.
Day 7 Again breakfast and to Manakanama temple by cable car. After this direction
Chitwan National Park. Where your 2 day tharu culture and jungle experience
starts.
Day 8 All activities in the national park.
Day 9 After breakfast we drive to Lumbini. Buddha birth place .And yet another Tharu
Village.
Day 10 All day exploring temple complex and Tharu village tour by rickshaw.
Day 11 Flight from Bhairawa to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
Rest of the day is free time.
Day 12 Visit to Patan and see Durbar square and more.
Day 13 Morning no program, afternoon we go to Pasupati hindu temple
Day 14 Morning mountain flight, afternoon time for shopping. Or a visit to the former
Royal palace.
Day 15 Transfer to the airport. and flight home. Unless you decide different!

DIFFERENT NEPAL TOUR KULTUUR EN RELIGIE
Deze tour biedt u een goed overzicht van de vele, vele tempels, kulturen en musea die je kan vinden in Nepal.
Allereerst gaan we Kathmandu vallei in, met z’n rijke Newari kultuur. De Newars zijn de originele bewoners van de valley en ze hebben een grootse civilizatie gecreeerd in de drie steden in de valley. Kathmandu, Patan en Bhaktapur. Met z’n vakkundig gebouwde tempels en gebouwen. Bewerkte stenen en metalen beelden. En prachtig bewerkte houten huizen.
We nemen u mee naar oude stad Bhaktapur, world heritage site. We gaan op zoek naar de verborgen tempels in de nauwe steegjes van Kathmandu.
Maar we gaan ook naar de gigantische Boeddhistische tempel complexen Swayambodnath en Boudhanath. En naar een van de meest heilige Hindu temples, Pasupati.
Er staat u een zonsondergang en opgang te wachten in Nagarkot ,met prachtige uitzichten op de Himalaya.
Met de kabelbaan steken we de machtige Trisuli rivier over om weer een andere belangrijke hindu temple te bezoeken, Manakanama temple.
Verder naar Lumbini, de geboorteplaats van Boeddha, met z’n gigantische internationale tempelpark.
Maar maakt u zich geen zorgen, het is niet allemaal tempels.
Nepal heeft ook de Tharu kultuur in de Terai, de bewoners van de Terai hebben hun eigen kultuur opgebouwd in een harder verleden. Zo hebben ze hun verdedigings technieken omgezet in opwindende dansen. De huizen zijn gebouwd van klei met grasdaken. Een totaal andere omgeving.Als u daar toch bent, dan gaan we maar gelijk voor een olifant safari in Chitwan National Park.
Er zal tijdens uw reis genoeg tijd zijn om te relaxen en te winkelen.
En we sluiten alles af met een vlucht boven de Himalaya.
U verblijft in midden en top klasse hotels en resorts.Alle vervoer wordt voor u geregeld en er zal steeds een gids bij u zijn. Op verzoek kan dat een nederlands sprekende gids zijn.
Als u iets wil veranderen in uw progamma is dat mogelijk. Trekken in de Bergen? De rivieren afzakken op een raft?We zijn zo flexibel als het maar kan .

Reis schema
Dag 1 Aankomst in Kathmandu en vervoer naar het hotel
Dag 2 Na het ontbijt een rondrit in de vallei om de boedhistische tempels te zien
.Met gids natuurlijk.
Dag 3 Na het ontbijt een wandeltocht ,met gids naar Durbar square en de verborgen
tempeltjes in de smalle steegjes van Kathmandu.
Dag 4 De ochtend vrij en ’s middags naar Nagarkot,waar we blijven voor zonsondergang
en opgang.
Dag 5 Na het ontbijt naar Bhaktapur,alles bekijken . Een nacht verblijf aldaar.
Dag 6 Na alweer een ontbijt vertrekken we rustig aan naar Riverside Spring Resort ,
Zwembad aanwezig en veel natuur.
Dag 7 In de ochtend gaan we met de kabelbaan de Trisuli rivier over en we bezoeken de
Manakanama tempel, die van grote betekenis is voor Hindus. Na terugkomst gaan
Verder naar Chitwan ,waar uw jungle/Tharu cultuur programma begint.
Dag 8 Alle jungle aktiviteiten in Chitwan National Park.
Dag 9 Na het ontbijt vertrekken we naar Lumbini, de geboorteplaats van Boeddha. Maar
ook een interessant Tharu dorp wat we kunnen bekijken.
Dag 10 De hele dag om het uitgebreide tempelcomplex te bekijken. Internationaal
opgezet met diverse bouwstijlen. En een Tharu dorp tour, dit alles per rickshaw.
Dag 11 Binnenlandse vlucht van Bhairawa terug naar Kathmandu..Vervoer naar het hotel
en de rest van de dag vrij.
Dag 12 Bezoek aan Patan met z’n eigen Durbar square en musea.
Dag 13 Ochtend vrij, “s middags naar Pasupati tempel, een van de belangrijkste hindu
tempels.
Dag 14 Een ochtend vlucht boven de bergen en ’s middags vrij te besteden om te
winkelen of voormalig koninklijk paleis te bezoeken.
Dag 15 Vervoer naar het vliegveld en terug vlucht naar huis of elders. Tenzij u anders
wil. Daar helpen we graag mee.
